Position Summary
The Recruiting Manager is responsible for leading and supporting all recruiting initiatives and managing full life-cycle recruiting efforts. In addition, the Recruiting Manager coordinates the recruitment process through the selection and negotiation of various sources, ensures consistency and equitability in the recruitment process, meeting all Company objectives and legal guidelines, and maintains effective working relationships with all levels of company management to anticipate talent needs.
Responsibilities
- Conducts full-life cycle recruiting through sourcing, headhunting, qualifying and interviewing candidates
- Designs, develops and maintains the recruitment process in the organization
- Collaborates with hiring managers and department heads to understand their staffing needs and proactively provide guidance on best recruitment practices
- Responsible for choosing the optimum recruitment channels and recruitment sources
- Explores market best practices in recruitment and implements appropriate best practices in the organization
- Builds a quality relationship with the internal management team and external recruitment agencies
- Oversees the onboarding process including: sending offer letters, creating onboarding schedules and collaborating with hiring managers on necessary training, to ensure new hires are adequately educated on Swank's benefits and other pertinent information
- Sets social media communication strategy for different job profiles and functions in the organization
- Enhances company's employer brand through effective communication and branding strategies to attract top talent
- Builds strong relationships with University Partners, and serves as a representative for Swank at career fairs, various on-campus events, and speaking engagements
- Manages Swank’s summer internship program, including recruiting qualified interns, coordinating mentor and manager partnerships, and collaborating closely with hiring managers to oversee intern projects and responsibilities are monitored and completed. Conduct mid-term assessments and schedule events for interns and mentors. Provides and ensures a positive work experience
- Monitors the labor legislation and implements required changes to keep the process compliant
- Other projects as assigned
Requirements
Professional Requirements
- 5+ years of HR experience including full-lifecycle executive recruiting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to take initiative and build strong productive relationships
- Ability to maintain confidential information and work in a team environment with a strong customer service focus required
- Experience with ATS system, LinkedIn, and Indeed
- Strong negotiation skills
Educational Requirements
- BA or BS Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field required.
