Talent Recruiter
tarte cosmetics is seeking a driven and enthusiastic recruiter to join the HR team and manage the end-to-end recruitment process for our fast-moving and growing creative business. Reporting to the Executive Director of HR, you will play a critical role in sourcing, screening, and hiring top talent for our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct full cycle recruiting for open positions across multiple disciplines: sourcing, pre-screening, face-to-face interviews, selection and reference checking
- Create and build strong working relationships with all Hiring Managers
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies that build pipelines of top talent for key skill-sets and commonly open positions
- Accurately assess skill and culture fit of candidates
- Maintain regular and timely communication with candidates throughout the interviewing process
- Networking within the beauty industry to stay updated on recruiting trends
- In partnership with Senior Leadership and the Executive Director, proactively identify and evaluate hiring needs
- Assist in providing training and general guidance to hiring managers on interviewing best practices
- Offer recommendations and negotiate/create job offers
- Monitor costs related to recruiting efforts, ensuring adherence to budget limits
- Maintain all job descriptions and job postings
- Main contact for all recruiting vendors including LinkedIn
- Provide weekly recruitment status to executive team
- Responsible for providing up-to-date info to include in the open position report provided to the executive team
Requirements:
- 3-6 years experience as a recruiter (beauty industry experience preferred)
- Strong networking and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in social media capabilities for employment branding and sourcing
- Experience in a dynamic organization with growth and change
- Strong sense of urgency, excellent prioritization, and time management skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (experience with Workable ATS a plus)
- Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
