Job Description

The Human Resources Generalist (HRG) is a strategic partner who provides high-quality service to SNAHC’s management and employee teams under the direct supervision of the Human Resources Director. The HRG is responsible for carrying out duties in the following functional areas, including but not limited to: employee development, employee relations, organizational development, worker’s compensation, employee benefits, compensation, and other items related to the employee life cycle.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of progressive experience in the Human Resources field, or a combination of education and experience.
  • PHR, PHRca, SHRM-CP certification preferred.
  • Experience with Ultimate payroll and HR platforms preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise sound independent judgment and to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Ability to effectively develop interpersonal relationships and identify resources, and information, communicating in a clear, concise and effective manner verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to use time efficiently to keep commitments while prioritizing and planning work activities.
  • Must possess a high degree of professionalism, diplomacy, and ability to interact with staff, patients/clients, community members, and others.
  • Knowledge of and proficiency with computer programs such as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • The employee shall work well under pressure to meet multiple and sometimes competing deadlines.
  • Ability to complete tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternative plan while maintaining report deadlines.
  • Must maintain strict confidentiality.
