Job Description

Wasserman Music is looking for a Human Resources (HR) Coordinator to undertake a variety of HR administrative duties and facilitate daily HR functions. The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of Human Resources as well as general administrative responsibilities. Should be able to work autonomously and efficiently to ensure the end-to-end running of HR projects and operations.

The HR Coordinator will report into the Manager, Human Resources.

The position will begin remotely but will be based in New York City once offices reopen.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct new hire orientation, process new hire paperwork, background checks, I-9s, and other onboarding documentation
  • Collaborate with IT and operations to prepare for new hires, as well as manage the employee off-boarding process
  • Maintain and update employee data in our HRIS and other internal systems
  • Serve as first point of contact for payroll amp; benefits administration and general employee questions
  • Assist payroll by compiling and entering payroll data and reconcile errors to ensure accuracy of payroll
  • Assist employees with access to payroll and time keeping software
  • Build relationships with hiring managers to help sources candidates, post open roles, screen candidates and schedule interviews
  • Participate in the coordination and administration of internship programs, including recruitment, on-boarding, summer programs and events.
  • Assist the operations team by providing reception coverage, event coordination, and maintaining a professional and tidy office environment.
  • Assist HR Department as necessary with special projects or tasks.

Requirements

  • Work experience as a HR Assistant, Coordinator, or a similar role
  • Familiarity with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) specifically ADP Workforce Now amp; Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills with emphasis on HR data and reporting metrics
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills and conflict management skills.
  • BSc in Human Resources Management or relevant field
