Overview

Educational Alliance is seeking a highly motivated and capable People and Culture Associate to join our fast-paced and dynamic HR team. In this role, the People and Culture Associate is responsible for supporting various programs and processes within the Human Resources department. The ideal candidate is a problem solver, a people lover, a multitasker, a project manager, and a team player who is hungry for a challenge. You will be the first point of contact of our candidates, our new hires, our employees when they need help, and you will be in the center of creating a unique culture with top-tier talents. You will also be working with the team and providing support to team members. This role will have huge room to develop and grow into areas that the candidate is interested in developing further.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the onboarding process for all company-new hires to support a smooth and compliant integration into the organization; ensures all new hires, including inter-company transfers, complete all required onboarding activities timely.
  • Periodically re-evaluates the onboarding process based on feedback from end-users/new-hire surveys and provides recommendations to Chief People and Equity Officer for process improvements.
  • Provide QA/QC support to ensure all required information/documentation is completed timely and accurately.
  • Assist with special projects and initiatives, including creation and/or modification of process flows, standard operating procedures, FAQs, and guides.
  • Handle routine inquiries, correspondence, and departmental administration, i.e., basic employee questions, organizational change administration, vacancy analysis, performance review support, exit interviews, etc.
  • Assist in collecting, preparing, and reviewing data for reports, programs, and other formal written communications; ensures that all reports and correspondence achieve a high level of quality.
  • Responsible for maintaining a broad understanding of Company policies, department procedures, etc.
  • Contribute to the development of communication and outreach strategies to staff by identifying frequently asked questions from multiple entities and by actively engaging.
  • Recommend change to human resources policies by observing trends and frequently asked questions from the staff
  • Provide other tactical support to the HR Team. Participates in work planning and scheduling.
  • Support HR leadership with projects and HR needs.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology or Business or working experience equivalent.
  • 6 months experience in Human Resources related work required with onboarding experience essential.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with all levels of employees ensuring superior customer service skills.
  • Strong administrative skills, including organization, ability to proactively follow up on ongoing projects, and strict attention to detail
  • Ability to simplify processes and automate scheduling, sign up, and attendance tracking for trainings
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable fielding difficult questions
  • The successful candidate will have a proven ability to work independently and as part of a team with the skill to balance multiple projects successfully.
  • Superior administrative and computer skills with strong knowledge and use of Excel, Word, and HRIS systems essential. Prior experience with ADP Workforce Now Version 8 and Digiscribe.
  • The successful candidate must be detail-oriented and able to multi-task.
  • This is a high-demand job requiring the skill to assess and prioritize work projects while collaborating with other departments and team members.
