IT Manager
Location: Kent, WA
Reports to: CFO
The IT Manager will be the principal point of contact for all IT-related duties and oversees the IT Team of 3 - 4 in their individual roles and functions.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain servers including both on-prem and cloud servers, including databases.
- Hosting accounts for various websites, including AWS and Azure.
- Administer Microsoft 365 and implement security policies and procedures.
- SharePoint file repositories, and Teams structures and access control.
- Developing new network troubleshooting strategies to help reduce downtime and decrease maintenance costs
- Creating rational strategies for upgrading the company’s network software whenever a new update is available
- Constructing and implementing plans to ensure the company’s network continues to operate smoothly in the event of a problem
- Staying up to date with new network technology and reporting this information to the executive team each quarter
- Working closely with other department Managers to assess the growth needs and maintenance of the company’s network

- 5-7 years’ experience working in a senior IT role, with 1-2 years managing a team.
- Experience with Windows Operating System
- MAC Operating System
- iPhone support
- Be able to manage numerous ongoing projects at once while maintaining deadlines and expectations.
- Expert knowledge of IT best practices, policies, and regulations
- In-depth understanding of programming, computer science, and digital security
- A clear understanding of client/server technology and network architecture
- Vetting and choosing software that is used in the company.
- Maintaining the recurring charges and monitoring the cost associated with the software and hardware the company uses.
- Good communication, including writing, speaking, and active listening
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
- Advanced leadership and conflict management skills
- Customer service and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Great project management skills, including organization, planning, time management and prioritization

The IT Manager typically works Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00pm.
The IT Manager position is considered exempt from overtime. This position does require some evening and weekend work.
