RTM Business Group is a C-Level, professional development conference company, specializing in K-12 Education, Higher Education, Government Tech and Healthcare. We work with a rolodex of partners who are household names: Google Education, Spotify, Intel, and HP, to name a few!

At the beginning of 2020, in-person events were shut down and RTM was one of very few companies that was able to successfully pivot into a virtual offering providing tangible value for our clients. As a result, we experienced record-breaking revenue growth in 2021 and 2022, and are excited to continue that growth into 2023.

About the Role

RTM is looking for a Recruiting and HR Coordinator to join our team! The ideal candidate is excited by being a part of a fast growing team and learning about recruiting/retention strategies while gaining on the job experience. Your focus will be in managing the interview process, working on initiatives to attract new talent to the organization and supporting the continued development of the hiring process. You should be an enthusiastic, fast learner and excited to meet new people.

This role reports directly into the Director of Talent Acquisition and Retention, and will be collaborative at times cross-departmentally.

This is a Hybrid/Remote part time role in NY, NJ and CT with a minimum of 2 days per week in office at the Company’s NYC headquarters.

Ability for a full-time role.

Requirements

  • Provide support in key recruitment process points including aiding in research, scheduling of interviews and moving candidates along in the interview process
  • Serve as a back-up to team for processing and administering hiring documents
  • Maintain, update and create reports with ATS
  • Support company-wide Talent Acquisition and Diversity services and initiatives
  • Provide ad hoc reporting and overall support for special projects as requested
  • Assist with Recruitment Marketing and Employer Branding strategy to attract high quality applicants
  • Promote our employer brand online and offline
  • Review applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements
  • Interact with potential candidates on social media and professional networks (e.g. LinkedIn, Slack and other specialized networks)
  • Craft and send recruiting emails
  • Develop talent pipelines for future hiring needs
  • Ask for referrals from current employees and external networks
  • Communicate with past applicants regarding new job opportunities
  • Represent and promote organization to potential applicants by providing information, responding to questions, and collecting applicant data
  • Create and post job descriptions
Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Demonstrated communication skills and the ability to maintain/manage confidential information
  • Internship or .05 years of experience as Recruiting Coordinator or similar HR role
  • Ability and willingness to learn about the position requirements and recruiting
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and the ability to interact at all levels of the organization with diplomacy and professionalism
  • Experience providing recruiting, human resources, or administrative support
  • Experience with an ATS, we currently use Workable
  • Understanding and familiarity with Recruitment Marketing

Hourly Pay: $20/H
